Hugh Howser is back and this time serving up a sexy version of the classic Mojito at Virgin Hotel Nashville’s Pool Club. He dives in with bartender M.J. and learns to use some once forbidden Rum and a secret ingredient that gives the beloved cocktail a bit of edge. As usual, Hugh works so hard at making a perfect drink that he spends the afternoon recovering and discovers a bit of added luxury to his room. Mamacita Mojito

Ingredients: Serves 6

  • 2 Chopped Limes
  • A Handful of Mint
  • 4 oz Simple Syrup
  • 6 oz Rum
  • Prosecco 


Combine limes, mint, and simple syrup in a large pitcher and muddle together. Add rum, and top with ice. Stir generously, mixing well. Top off with your favorite Prosecco and give it one last stir. Sip, enjoy and repeat.
