Nashville-based creative agency, Go West Creative, has partnered with one of Nashville’s top restaurants, The Chef & I, for the U.S. premiere of an enchanted 3D dining experience, Banquet of Hoshena. The show began its limited showing on August 1st, and will tentatively run through Sunday, September 29th.

The evening is meant to be fully immersive, offering an interactive dining experience with a storyline for the guests as the table comes to life in the form of kings, queens, fairies and other fantastical creatures. The table reveals itself and introduces Her Majesty “the Queen of Hoshena.” The Queen tells of the beauty and glory of her lost Kingdom and how a Prophecy destroyed the harmony that once existed between herself, her people, and her mighty King. As the kingdom has gone cold with snow and ice, the Queen asks the question, “What sort of life would it be without fire?”

Enter chef Chris Rains of The Chef & I, who built the entire menu around the storyline’s concept of once again finding Hoshena’s “fire.” As the storyline progresses, each guest is served their course with a story, illusion and a note about the elements in the food being served.

While the experience itself is impressive, it’s also quite to nod to Nashville. The fact that our city was chosen to be the premier location for such an event speaks volumes of Nashville’s growth. The banquet adds an element to Nashville that you might only find in cities like New York or D.C. But, don’t just take our word for it. Below you’ll see some of our images from this enchanting dinner, which may just inspire to you get a ticket of your own while they’re still in town!
