BENEFICIARY: THE NASHVILLE FOOD PROJECT
The Nashville Food Project is much more forward-thinking than traditional canned food collections for hunger. The organization works towards its mission of helping educate the community to grow food and cook meals while also operating a program to share healthy, fresh food with those in need.
FEATURED GUEST CHEF: ROBBIE WILSON
Dining enthusiasts from Tennessee to California are likely familiar with the inventive culinary style of Chef Robbie Wilson. Recently named one of Zagat’s superheroes of the San Francisco Bay area dining scene, Wilson has become quite a trailblazer in one of the most discriminating restaurant climates in the country. His ultra-successful Bird Dog in Palo Alto continuously wins awards and mentions from national and regional organizations and media and there is a great deal of anticipation building around his most recent project, Le Fantastique in San Francisco, throughout the dining industry.
Many remember Robbie and his wife and business partner, Emily fondly from their stint in Nashville for the impactful menus they created for the city’s beloved MStreet restaurant group. It was during their time in Music City that they built a serious foodie following and developed lasting personal relationships with patrons. If the rumors are true, we are hopeful that their next trend-setting restaurant opening will bring the dynamic couple back to Nashville.
LOCATION: GREEN DOOR GOURMET
Chef Richard Jones will co-host at the spectacular local farm, Green Door Gourmet. His focus is on organic practices and quality produce which will be incorporated into food and drink throughout the event.
MUSIC: SONGWRITERS TIM NICHOLS AND JASON SELLERS
Two of the most beloved and awarded Nashville based songwriting talents will be performing their original recordings and sharing the stories behind the music during the evening. Both of these hit-makers have extraordinary talent, histories and a lengthy list of awards from Grammy’s to numerous CMA and ACM recognitions. Not only is the music intoxicating, but together they truly bring life to the party with lively conversation involving humor and interaction with the audience. Plus John Pell with 91Classical will provide music throughout the cocktail hour and dinner.
