Backyards can be and should be enchanting places. With the right seating arrangements, sunshade, landscaping, and water element, you can transform any space to be magical. No matter the time of year, being outside (glass of wine in hand, of course) with great conversation or even a good book can feel like a mini-vacation from our busy lives. In our latest series, Backyard Bliss, we’ll be showcasing each week some of the most luxurious outdoor spaces around Nashville for your ultimate inspiration for creating your very own backyard oasis.
Favorite feature(s) of your space:
I designed this space to be used year-round! In the warm months we open up the doors to feel the breeze inside and out and in the cooler months, the fireplace and heaters make this space so cozy.
How you most often use the area:
I wanted to make a space that was ideal for entertaining, but also intimate enough for a quiet night at home. We love to have friends and family gathered here for dinners and celebrations! Equally, sitting out on the patio swing listening to the sounds of nature around us, having a glass of wine, and discussing our day.
The one thing you plan to buy or add this season:
Looking forward to transitioning this space into the fall months by adding some fuzzy/cozy elements like fur throws, pillows, and all things to usher in fall by design!
