| COURTNEY’S DO’S AND DON’TS

What should people invest in?

CK: Great jeans- not only should the right pair fit well, but I believe they can make anyone feel confident. Shoes- especially for me. I tend to look at men’s shoes first-off upon formally meeting them (discreetly, of course).

Favorite party look:

CK: Sequin jacket with thin-knit tank top, regular jeans or shiny black jeans, white Saint Laurent studded pumps OR a great velvet suit with fur-lined brocade Gucci slippers.

Biggest fashion mistake you see on others:

CK: Too put together/ contrived, Visible panty lines, mothers in their 50’s dressing like their teenage daughters, revealing too much, wrong undergarments/ ill-fitting ones, the “X” threads that secure jacket vents- these should be snipped before ever putting the jacket on.

Best online shopping websites:

CK: Farfetch, matchesfashion, net-a-porter, Moda Operandi, Mytheresa, shopstyle

One thing that almost anyone can do to instantly improve their look:

CK: Great posture

Style trend you hate/what you would never wear or style on someone:

CK: Cowl-necks:  No matter how young or old you are, they are even older looking.  Also, ordinary-looking clothes- everyone has a personality and they should show it.

Favorite designers of the moment:

CK: Hedi Slimane for Celine, Isabel Marant, Saint Laurent, Gucci; Ganni, ba&sh, Raisa & Vanessa

Best place for spa services/treatments or spa/services:

CK: Trace skincare, Pure Sweat + Float Studio, Private Edition

Best place for a date night:

CK: Dinner at the bar at Rolf & Daughters or O-Ku Sushi

Unexpected hidden treasure:

CK: My daughters love to have picnics down by the river on the big grassy steps-probably because it’s near the most amazing old-school candy shop

| HER LOOK

What is your go-to work uniform?
