Welcome to Nashville Edit’s newest drink series: “Cocktails With:”. In each article, we’ll share a video and a recipe to the featured drink for you all to make at home. Our first episode features the beloved Hugh Howser, as he teams up with Patricia, Adele’s’ beverage director to make a 1970s-style tequila sunrise. They chose to make it in a pint glass, as that’s what is most likely to be in your cabinet. The recipe and episode are linked below. Cheers!

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz Tequila (we’d opt for Herradura)
  • ice
  • 5 oz orange juice

Fill glass with ice. Slowly pour 1 oz of Grenadine down the inside of the glass. It will sink to the bottom, creating the “sunrise” effect. Garnish with an orange wedge and cherry.

*Patricia and Hugh mutually agreed about their preferences in regards to opting to go maskless for this video. The rest of the crew was wearing masks and practicing social distancing.*
