With social calendars being wide open due to large event cancellations across the board, attending an intimate dinner with strategically (but not intrusive or obvious) planned social distancing measures was a welcome treat. This was especially true at a special gathering hosted by The Nashville Edit to celebrate the launch of the Woodford Reserve collaboration with Baccarat Crystal – with the gorgeous special-release, limited-edition bottles being the honored guest.
One of our team’s most popular attributes is Edit’s ability to plan and execute private events for luxury brands seeking a truly memorable and impactful experience for guests and media. This was no exception – with our favorite libation involved, it was a delicious exercise for all involved.
Dozens of Baccarat’s signature red gift boxes were suspended over a table flanked with hundreds of white roses arranged in the crystal brand’s beautiful vase collection. Candlelight flickered as appropriately spaced guests enjoyed various Woodford Reserve cocktails as they learned a bit more about the art of sipping to savor this premium whiskey. Held in a private room inside The Joseph Hotel, guests enjoyed a gourmet menu of food pairings prepared by Yolan.
The grand finale was the tasting of the Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition. This bottle is crafted by finishing the most complex and balanced Kentucky Bourbon in cognac barrels. Each barrel has seen three seasons of cognac before being filled with Woodford Reserve and presented in a bespoked Baccarat decanter. Nashville was lucky to host the second launch nationwide of this special-release bottle.
