MEET JAMIE BECKWITH

Jamie Beckwith is a Nashville-based interior designer (Beckwith Interiors), with a unique focus on artisanal and luxury wood treatments, both vertical and flooring in a branch that she has dubbed the Jamie Beckwith Collection. Her eye for design transcends her business and is present in her closet as well, and the EDIT had a chance to take a peek inside, and learn about her sense of style.

IN THE CLOSET

Daily Uniform: Jeans with knitwear or feminine Ulla Johnson top and either slides or sneakers for shoes.

My Look: Classic understated aesthetic with punches of feminine romantic silhouettes.

Closet You Would Most Like to Have: Victoria Beckham or Olivia Palermo.

Best Closet Organization Trick: Keeping your closet edited and unworn clothing donated so there is not an overabundance of items. Grouping by seasons and colors is also another great trick.

Hanging Up: Wooden hangers.

Item You Will Own Forever: My Moncler coat.

Packing Essentials: Scarves and sunglasses, flats for dressy evening and sneakers for walking, great shirt dress for day-to-night.

Wishlist: Combat or leather ankle boot.

Trend You Are Loving Lately: Volume in dressing and individual style. I am not sure it is a trend, but I am wearing more and more sneakers, and fewer heels. I feel there is a trend in this direction and heels sometimes feel stuffy and dated.

Best Splurge: My best splurge is a quality overcoat or jacket- one that is timeless and can be worn for seasons to come. My The Row jackets or Moncler coats are my go-to’s.
