One place we consistently recommend to our friends and family when visiting Music City is The Omni Nashville. The property is a trailblazer of sorts as it was the first to offer multiple restaurants, spa services, and a variety of meeting and event services prior to the boom of hotels going up in the area. Meeting planners favor it for the access and big group capacity, but we choose it for much-needed staycations in cozy designer suites close to home. Here are a few things you can expect when booking your own escape.
Proximity to Play
There’s not another property as well situated to the attractions we most often want to visit. With walk across and adjacent building access to both Music City Center and the Country Music Hall of Fame, it’s so easy to walk almost everywhere without worrying about comfort when sporting the highest night-out heels. It’s also just a few steps from the city’s most popular concert and indoor sports venue(s), making it a win for anyone seeking to explore the area without having to walk too far for the ultimate night out.
Hidden Oasis
Rooftop pool decks have become quite the trend in new hotel openings, and for good reason. Soaking up views with the advantage of fresh air and more of a breeze than you’ll find at street level are just a couple of reasons for going high. The Omni’s design stands out, though not at the top, but instead hidden in a perfect alcove that adds a privacy element perfect for blocking street noise for that solo reading hour poolside. We like it for throwing parties, as the setup and design are well-suited to embracing guests in a serene environment that’s transportive from the typical Nashville experience and environment.

Decadent Dining
Whether it’s a special birthday, anniversary, or other celebration, Bob’s Steak & Chophouse has become a popular choice for discriminating diners seeking a romantic, upscale setting and menu. One of the latest additions to the menu is the sought-after W. Black Australian Wagyu beef feature. For steak-lovers who are choosy about the sustainability and farming practices of what’s on their plate, the Tomahawk at Bob’s is the ultimate reward. It’s not found elsewhere and surrounded by the restaurant’s specialty sides, salads, and select wines, makes for a superlative, memorable meal.
Retreat On-Site
While the expansive resort-style spa was designed for visiting guests, Mokara Spa is typically the top choice of locals in-the-know for booking a day of pampering close to home. From steam to massage, the spa has everything you’d expect from a top-notch destination facility with professional staffing on hand for every indulgent moment. Our favorite treatments are the HydraFacial or a Signature massage. There’s even a spa concierge to help you plan the entire experience – for one or for that group of friends you’ve been wanting to treat.
