This just in: Nashville’s own Kristin Cavallari is taking her skin routine into her own hands by launching Uncommon Beauty this spring. According to BAZAAR.com, the skincare line will launch on May 13th, consisting of five hero products—a foaming face wash loaded with enzymes, a water gel-cream moisturizer, a vitamin C eye cream, a mango lip balm, and a vitamin C pineapple nectar, Cavallari’s holy grail.

“The whole idea of Uncommon Beauty was to create really clean, effective products,” she told BAZAAR, “But we also don’t want you to have 20 steps, so we’re stripping your routine down to a handful of products that will get the job done.”

For all of us at EDIT, this new venture seems like a natural addition to her portfolio of brands that already includes jewelry, home decor, and children’s clothing. We’ve turned to Cavallari for what’s next and new in beauty and wellness for years—from her morning smoothie routine to her preferred local nail artist. Selfishly, we’re excited that she’s diving into skincare for the sake of our own bathroom vanities.

“The Pineapple Peptide Nectar is my favorite because it’s the best for anti-aging but is also super hydrating,” she says of the gel-serum hybrid. “This is a unique and cool product because it’s a mix of vitamin C, specifically Australian Kakadu plum, which is the world’s highest source of vitamin C, and peptides in one formula. Plus, it smells so yummy. I put it on first thing in the morning.”

Hey Alexa, add Pineapple Peptide Nectar to our shopping list.
